Who we are

LoonaMed is the controller responsible for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us about any privacy matter at hello@loonamed.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the LoonaMed software products. Medical images and patient data processed in our products are handled under separate agreements with our customers — the healthcare provider is typically the controller, and LoonaMed processes that data on their behalf.

What we collect

Technical data

When you load a page, our hosting provider automatically receives the technical information needed to deliver it: your IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. These server logs are used to operate and secure the site and are deleted after a short period.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name and anything else you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and handle your request.

Cookies and similar technologies

We store your cookie choice in your browser. Optional analytics cookies are only used if you allow them. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Fonts

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies.

Why we use it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website, such as our hosting and email providers. They process it on our instructions under data processing agreements. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up, then deleted unless we are legally required to keep it. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for 12 months.

This website is intended for healthcare professionals and businesses. It is not directed at children.
